How to make memes

In recent years, the artform of memes has taken the internet by storm. People share memes to express how they feel, to make each other laugh, and to comment on politics, spirituality, and culture. In a world that is increasingly divided – both by distance and ideology – memes are one of the only things bringing people together.

Memes spread fast and far. Overnight, a single meme can go viral around the world, inspiring countless shares and adaptations. But where do memes come from? Why are they so popular? And, most importantly, what can memes teach all writers, artists, and marketers about communicating effectively on social media?

Introducing: Meme School

In the first event of its kind, I will take a dive deep into the world of internet memes with a special two-day online course designed to teach the secrets of making memes. You will leave the class with both a philosophical and practical understanding of how to leverage memes to share your message and grow a following online.
